My thanks for visiting. For those of you who do not know of Thanos, you may have a few questions... "Who is this guy?", "What's his deal?" And, "Where has he appeared?". News Briefs

• The recent Thanos story arc in the pages of "Captain Marvel" wrapped up with issue #19. CrissCross returned to the pencilling chores on the title, rendering the Mad Titan in a fashion virtually unchanged since he pencilled the "Hulk/X-Man" Annual back in 1998.

• Two new Thanos tales are slated to appear on the horizon. First up shall be Steve Englehart's "Celestial Quest" tale which should be released this September.

  Up next will be Jim Starlin's "Infinity Abyss", which he will not only write, but pencil as well. The storyline will be self-contained, and will debut in December.
