History: Eros is a member of the Eternals, a genetic offshoot of humanity, that left for deep space from Earth years ago and settled on Jupiter's moon of Titan. Eros is the youngest son of Alars and Sui-San, and he grew up to be a fun-loving, carefree womanizer in contrast to his brother Thanos, a power-hungry, misanthropic schemer. Only when Thanos launched his first major attack against Titan, an attack that left their mother Sui-San dead, did Eros begin to take life a bit more seriously.

Years later, in a subsequent campaign of terror by Thanos, Eros fought alongside Titan's handful of survivors. Eros then joined the alien Captain Mar-Vell and the Earth hero-team called the Avengers in the first major defeat of Thanos. No longer bound by duty on Titan, Eros left the war-torn moon, seeking out pleasure and recreation on humanoid-inhabited worlds.

Eros returned to Titan to help console his friend Mar-Vell when he, cancer-stricken, retreated to Titan to spend his final days of life. Just before he died, Mar-Vell made Eros promise to take care of his Titanian companion, Elysius, after he was gone. Eros honored his vow for several weeks, until Elysius, realizing his wanderlust, released him from his promise. Eros then consulted ISAAC, Titan's master computer, for data on the most suitable planets for his needs and temperament. The computer recommended Earth. Traveling there, Eros visited the only people he knew, the Avengers, and petitioned them to make him a member. The Avengers admitted him to their training program and gave him the name Starfox, since they felt Eros was an inappropriate code-name. As Starfox, Eros served the Avengers faithfully for several months, helping them vanquish such menaces as the Wizard, Terminus, and Maelstrom.

Finally, while in the Skrull empire rescuing fellow Avenger Captain Marvel II, Starfox was abducted by the space pirate Nebula, who claimed to be Thanos's granddaughter and thus Eros' grand-niece. Nebula was defeated, and Eros resigned his active membership in the Avengers to pursue Nebula, who had eluded them with the help of the near-omnipotent Beyonder. He soon met up with Firelord, the former Herald of Galactus whose native world Xandar was destroyed by Nebula, and the two searched the universe for Nebula for many months.

Eros was later summoned to the side of Thanos, who had at the time assembled the so-called Soul/Infinity Gems to create the Infinity Gauntlet and thereby give himself omnipotent power. Thanos had also summoned Nebula in order to scoff at such a family reunion. Thanos was soon defeated by an assemblage of the universe's heroes and the original Soul Gem owner, Adam Warlock, who ultimately took the Infinity Gauntlet for himself. Eros elected to take Nebula into custody of the Eternals on the moon Titan.

Eros returned to a hedonistic life of adventure, preferring to wander space in search of romance and adventure. He would often return to help the Avengers in their adventures, serving during such cases as the Terminus crisis, Operation: Galactic Storm, and the Nemesis case involving the Infinity Gems and the so-called Ultraverse. More recently, he aided Photon and other Avengers against the Controller.

Letr, Starfox was among the members of the Avengers who were captured by Morgan Le Fay and mind controlled into becoming her personal guard, the Queen's Vengeance. While serving her he went by the name Knave of Hearts. After being freed from Le Fay he teamed up with Tigra and spent time on Deneb-7, a pleasure planet.

After a while on Deneb-7 Tigra became bored and the two left seeking adventure. Tigra and Starfox were among the reserve Avengers who responded to Quasar III's call for assistance in investigating the destruction of a Rigelian outpost world. He traveled with Tigra to the outpost world and met up with Thor, Photon and Moondragon, where they found the only survivor to be the wounded Jack of Hearts. Together they fought a Servator of the Infinities.

Eventually, Starfox returned to Titan for a time, and remained there until Thanos' gambit to destroy the coming celestial messiah. Starfox led a force og some of the most powerful Titans into battle against Thanos' forces, and Starfox himself engaged his brother in personal combat. Starfox, however, proved no match for his eldest brother, and was blasted into unconciousness and held prisoner. At the conclusion of the incident, Starfox was freed by several of the Avengers, and returned home with his surviving strike-force of Titans.

Height: 6' 1"
Eyes: Blue
Weight: 190
Hair: Red

Strength level: His strength, which is above average for a male Titan, enables him to lift (press) aproximately 10 tons.

Known superhuman powers: Starfox posses several superhuman powers and capacities derived from his Eternal ancestry. Unlike Earth born Eternals, Titan-born Eternals do not possess the same self-regenerating cosmic life-force. (The accident that bestowed this cosmic life force upon the Eternals occurred after some of their number had left for Titan, thus the original Eternals of Titan never gained this practical immortality. Since all Titan-born Eternals are descendants of an original Eternal of Titan, Sui-San, not a recipient of the cosmic life force, and A'Lars who was, Titan-born Eternals tend to have varying degrees of longevity but not true immortality.) Starfox appears to be one of the longer-lived Eternals of Titan. Over one millenium old already, Starfox is still physically young by Eternal standards. Like all Titan-born Eternals, Starfox is immune to all terrestrial diseases, and has limited powers of cellular regeneration and a metabolism far more efficient than Earth humans. Titanian Eternals have the potential to manipulate cosmic energies in varrious ways, but Starfox himself has never undertaken the discipline of learning how.

Like most Eternals (Earth and Titan-born), Starfox can levitate himself by mentally manipulating gravitons (sub-atomic particles that carry the force of gravitational attraction between particles) around him. He can fly at about 800 miles per hour (aproximately Mach 1.03), a rate exceptional for his kind.

Starfox possesses one ability that is apparently unique to him; the psionic ability to stimulate the pleasure centers of the brains of people within 25 feet of himself. This power, which emanates from him at all times causes other beings to feel good around him. By concentrating, he can magnify these emanations, provoking such extreme pleasurable sensations that a person becomes highly aroused, euphoric, or totally sedated, as the case may be. This ability, however, does not work on the brains of beings without pleasure centers.

Abilities: Starfox possesses some knowledge of basic hand-to-hand-combat, and some degree of mastery over 500 different alien languages.

Note: Eros should not be confused with the Olympian god Eros (in latin, Cupid) who was the son of Aphrodite (Venus)
