The Characters

Daniel Wakanda Wolftalker
The Totem-Warrior Shaman
(Formerly Played by - John)

Daniel was introduced at the start of season 2, and was a real pain-in-the-ass initially, since he had a chip on his shoulder the size of the Rocky Mountains. He was the polar opposite of the fellow Totem Warriors, Robert and Dani Walksalong, who are a bit more mature, and far more measured and patient. Daniel was something of a lose-cannon, had a lot of resentment towards whites, and was a rather terrible team-player. Because of these traits, the scoobies were hesitant to trust him at the start. However, as he proved his abilities and dedication, they quickly came around.

Around mid-season, Daniel had grown a little bit, although he was still rather brash and argumentative. His experiences with the scooby gang had given him insight into a far larger and more complex world. Because of this, Daniel felt as if he needed time to strengthen his connection with the natural world, and meditate on everything he had learned. Daniel went off on his own, and has spent the last few weeks in seclusion in the mountainous forests of Randolph County, focusing on his own spiritual growth with an emphasis on finding his destiny.

With his spiritual journey complete for now, his current path is an unknown. What is clear, however, is that his comrades in Huntington could certainly use his aid in the days ahead.

Skills and Abilities

Daniel is a very skilled combatant, with a natural affinity for high-flying and high-impact moves that make use of his superior speed, agility, and strength. His animal totem is the Wolf, which really boosts his effectiveness when he works with others, especially in combat situations. This is ironic when you consider his argumentative nature. He can throw a knife or his tomahawk with a high-degree of accuracy. He's also showing a great deal of promise as a Shaman, particularly when it comes to healing magics that make use of herbs and other natural ingredients. Lastly, his magical affinity has given him the ability to change form, namely to that -fittingly enough- of a Wolf.
