The Demon Hunter (Played by - Teddy) Read Mitran's Online Journal. Mitran was born and spent his early childhood in south west Romania near the Black Sea. Never having known his father, and losing his mother to illness at 7, Mitran was raised by his Uncle. His uncle cared for him as he would his own son, but Mitran always felt that there was a void in his soul. He grew into a strong young man, but his eventual realization that he was attracted to other men instead of women, coupled with the sensation that there was something missing, took its toll on him, and prematurely lined his chisled features. Later in life Mitran would discover the unbelieveable truth... that his father was a Demon-Hunter, and that his dangerous undertaking finally caught up with him when a Demon he was hunting managed to kill him. Following this shocking revalation, Mitran swore to continue his father's work. Craving better education and opportunities than Romania could provide, Mitran scrimped and saved, and eventually applied for college in America. This landed Mitran in Huntington, West Virginia on a student-exchange program. Persuing a degree in History and Literature, Mitran believes he can learn better how to combat demons. Now, living in a town with a growing infestation of evil creatures, and having happened upon a group of like-minded Demon-fighters, Mitran definitely feels as if his choice was a bit more than an extension of his father's work. Indeed, Mitran strongly feels that it was surely his destiny. Mitran initially developed a rather pointed resentment towards Natalie, who - in his eyes - had lived a life of privilege, and had power thrust upon her that she did not earn or actually deserve. He felt very strongly that his Father had fought demons with only his mortal strength of arm, and had worked hard to earn his reputation and skill. When confronted with this young, rich girl with supernatural strength and power, a girl who had never really trained for the situations she now found herself in, he just couldn't help but feel that she needed to be taken down a peg or six. Eventually, the resentment came to a head after a heated argument in the training-room that climaxed when Natalie decided she'd had enough of Mitran's mouth, and backhanded him across a table. Mitran rose, and attempted to fight Natalie, but she quietly and calmly avoided every blow. A crestfallen Mitran gave up after a few moments, and Natalie warned him that next time she might not be so generous. Dwane immediately took Mitran out to have some drinks and blow off some steam, and Mitran slowly improved a bit after that, and he eventually made amends with Natalie, and slowly grew to respect her resolve and dedication to the mission at hand. His friction with Natalie aside, Mitran became an increasingly important part of the group, and helped them defeat many a powerful foe. When the immortal former Watcher called Edgar Torgeir Montgomery resurfaced after hundreds of years of extradimensional slumber, he sensed that Mitran might side with him in his efforts to banish all supernatural influence from the Earthly plane. However, Mitran rejected his plans outright, and would, in the end, prove to be Edgar's undoing. Invulnerable to magical attacks, and the efforts of any supernatural being, Edgar proved to be vulnerable only to mundane weapons weilded by a normal, mortal man. That man ended up being Mitran, who struck Edgar down with a fatal blow. However, with a dying effort, Edgar came close to avenging himself by breaking Mitran's neck. Mitran survived the attack, but was left a total quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down. As Mitran lay in a hospital bed, he pondered his future, which seemed bleak until he was paid a visit by a strange little fellow called Whistler. This demon in the shape of a man told Mitran that his courage and resolve had attracted the attention of the Powers that Be, the powerful and enigmatic guardians of right and universal order. He told Mitran that he had a desitny, and would do "fine things". Over the next few weeks, the weight of Whistler's words would be proven as Mitran made a miraculous recovery from his paralysis, and flew through his physical therapy. Soon, he was once again taking up his Battle-Axe, and laying the smack-down on an assortment of new foes. Among them, he helped the team defeat a vicious clan of werewolves, an Inferbyce Strike-Squad, and the frequent menace presented by the Necromancer, Johnathan Smythe. During all this, Mitran felt compelled to become a Romanian diplomat, and eventually succeeded in that quest. Mitran would suddenly have other duties to assume, but he still managed to help the group defeat the reborn Order of Aurelius; twice defeating the hulking Draugr called Fenris, and slaying a score of demons and vampires during the battle of Huntington. With yet another apocalypse averted, Mitran parted company with Natalie and the others, and would go on to spend the next year working hard as a diplomat, while also finding the time to become the champion the Powers need him to be.
Now, if he'd only cut down on the smoking.
