Episode 2.1 - "Ghosts of Semesters Past"
( Started on 3-14-04 )

As the Scooby Gang deals with its own ghosts in the fallout of last semester's events, it appears that Old Main has a few ghosts of its own, and they don't play nice. The arrival of a brash, young Totem Warrior with a big chip on his shoulder complicates matters. Meanwhile, Mitran - now a quadriplegic because of his broken neck - gets a visit from a mysterious man (Demon) called Whister, who tells Mitran that he's got himself a brand-spanking-new destiny of his very own.

Episode 2.2 - "Calamity Jean"
( Started on 3-28-04 )

A runaway named Jean appears in town, and she soon turns out to be a Slayer. Unfortunately, it seems that where she goes, trouble follows. In this case, she's being hunted by a clan of werewolves who would love to kill two Slayers for the price of one. The proximity of this werewolf clan rouses Dwane from his coma, but will he help, or make matters worse? Dan Durkin makes his first full appearance, and Mitran - who has miraculously recovered - leaves the hospital.

Episode 2.3 - "The South Shall RISE!"
( Started on 5-16-04 )

Its been unseasonably warm and wet this February, and it seems someone has used a magical totem to raise dead Civil-War soldiers as Zombies, who renew their old hostilities in Guyandotte. As the conflict spreads, the Scoobies deduce that it could be the cover for something a little bigger. Also, Xander is notified about the brutal murders of a couple of new Slayers abroad.

Episode 2.4 - "You Really Shouldn't Eat That"
(started on 5-23-04)

A brilliant science-student has cooked up a nutritional supplement that could mean the end of world hunger. However, since she and her assistants seem to be hiding the bizarre side effects of their "discovery", its more likely that it could mean the end of the world. Worse still, April 15th fast approaches, and Natalie is drowning in a sea of brutal, relentless ledgers, and she doesn't know what's worse: Mutant monsters, or Tax Season.

Episode 2.5 - "Get Me to the Church on Time"
(started on 6-20-04)

As Easter approaches, a member of the Demonic race called the Dohleren is on the run from a cadre of the evil, insect like Inferbyce. The Dohleren agent, calling himself Dr. Zachary, has to make it to one of Huntington's churches in order to return to his home dimension. However, the Inferbyce have found the rendezvous point, and have no qualms about killing everyone in the church if it means capturing Zachary. Unable to cope with the crisis alone, Dr. Zachary approaches the Scoobies for help in defeating the Inferbyce contingent, and saving the church and its parishioners.

Episode 2.6 - "Tomorrow's Yesterday"
(started on 6-27-04)

A battle-hardened version of Twitch arrives in Huntington, having escaped an apocalyptic future where a race of vampire-like mutants, called Haemovores, has opened the Hellmouth in Kovalensk, Siberia, and subsequently overrun the planet. The temporally-displaced Twitch contacts the current version of the scooby gang, and tells them of the dire fate they all face unless they can find a way to stop the Great Haemovore before he can amass enough power to tear open the Kovalensk Hellmouth.

Episode 2.7 - "Come Get Some!"
(started on 8-1-04)

The infamous Necronomicon has been stolen, and word has it that the thief is holed up somewhere in the area. As the group begins its investigation, they run into trouble when the book is used to raise a small cadre of vicious, zombie-like creatures controlled by Kandarian Demon spirits: the Evil Dead. They soon find that where the Necronomicon goes, a man called Ash follows, and he's determined to recover the book no matter what it takes.

Episode 2.8 - "The Think System"
(started on 8-15-04)

Natalie receives a prophetic dream about an upcoming assassination attempt. When a prominent expert on Government Cover-ups and Psychic Phenomena arrives in town, the Scoobies fear for her safety. Tensions increase when her aide is slain, apparently by Psychic Assassins. This episode includes an appearance by the current version of the Initiative, including Riley Finn, who takes Xander aside and tells him of the disappearances of notable military personnel across the globe.

Episode 2.9 - "Gygaxia - Part 1"
(started on 10-10-04)

While on the trail of the Necromancer, Johnathan Smythe, the group is sucked into another dimension, one filled with feudal knights and holy warriors, barbarians, halflings, elves, dragons, orcs, trolls, and nasty beasts aplenty. Worse still, many members of the group have been transformed into various mythical humanoid creatures. In order to get home, they need a powerful magical item. However, in order find it, they are going to have to quest for it. Yay?

Episode 2.10 - "Gygaxia - Part 2"
(started on 12-5-04)

Fighting their way to the artifact has been a real pain in the proverbial posterior. However, when they actually find it, they discover that their troubles have only just begun, because where's the fun and adventure in gaining a prize without having to deal with the ones who jealously guard it?

Episode 2.11 - "Sanction"
(started on 1-29-05)

Natalie is attacked on her patrol by an unusually well armed and determined vampire, and she is saved by the timely appearance of Dan Durkin. A subsequent conversation with Professor Good reveals that this incident and the murders of several other Slayers are connected, as are the disappearances of soldiers and officers. Later, Natalie and the others are attacked by several of the Vampiric commandos, and afterwards Xander receives word that the HQ in Cleveland has also been attacked by a Vampire assault-squad, a move that landed Faith and Vi in the hospital, and at least one other Slayer in the Morgue. Meanwhile, halfway across the world, one of the most notorious vampires in history is on a quest of her very own. And what Drusilla finds in the mountains of Turkey could mean the end of the world as we know it.

Episode 2.12 - "The Family that Slays Together"
(started on 10-8-06)

With the situation having proved to be deadly serious, Giles sends Natalie's permanent Watcher, David Sullivan, a few months early for some vital on-the-job training alongside Xander and Natalie. The gang's captured Vampire commando reveals precious little before killing himself with a holy-water capsule secreted in one of his teeth. Ramone, however, is able to learn more via psychometric reading of the vampire's remains, and what he learns makes him rather uneasy. Meanwhile, Sean Williams' investigation into the murder of Johnathan Smythe posed more questions than it did answers, and leads him straight to Natalie, who is often a fixture in the weirdness going on around town, and a late-night chat over coffee between the two of them soon turns into a semi-interrogation. The next day, David arrives and decides to accompany Natalie on her regular patrol. The patrol quickly segues into unfamiliar territory when Natalie encounters something she'd never considered: A family of Vampires, including Vampiric children. This disturbing encounter shakes Natalie to her core, and promises to haunt her for some time to come. As the episode comes to the close, a local funeral director finds, to his horror, that Johnathan Smythe isn't down for the count after all.

Episode 2.13 - "Cast Adrift"
(started on 10-22-06)

As the scoobies continue to try figure out what they're dealing with, a bad situation grows steadily worse when the Mini-Lunch gets torched and nearly burns to the ground; Johnathan Smythe makes a deal with Beth; And Elizabeth Moore and Dorian Gray get themselves in over their heads. As the gang makes plans the following day, Lydia, having been put on the case a couple of night before, discovers the disturbing truth concerning Beth's condition and the real circumstances behind her rebirth. However, before she can notify Xander, Beth temporarily takes her out of the picture. Meanwhile, Ramone discovers that there are more Hellmouths than originally thought, and Sean Williams investigates a murder at the Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary. The head-mortician swears that the murderer was to be none other than the late Johnathan Smythe. The whole incident leaves Sean with yet more questions, and he's rather determined to get the answers. A bit Later, a rather frantic Elizabeth Moore calls up Natalie concerning an impending Vamp/Demon rumble at the Marshall Parking Building, and when the scoobies get there to find Calamity Jane present, it initially feels like old home week. However, the bad just keeps on rolling when the group finds that the whole thing was a trap.

Episode 2.14 - "And if I Should Die..."
(started on 12-3-06)

The Scoodux gang has been left reeling, not only because of the battle against a gang of demons and vampires assisted by now-undead former allies, but also by Beth's transformation into a Keehne parasite and her subsequent attack and departure with Twitch in tow, whereupon she revealed her new allegiance to the gang's enemies. Following this attack, most of the scoobies end up going to the hospital and are treated for minor injuries. Xander, however, finished up with some cracked ribs and a broken ankle, and has to stay the night for observation, with Lydia by his side. Meanwhile, Sean Williams comes a bit unglued after what he witnessed, and nearly does himself in with too much booze and too many vicodin, and he too ends up in the hospital.

The next day, the gang regroups and begins to plan its next moves. Ramone makes plans to pierce the ward surrounding Brandt's Castle, while Heather studies Twitch's backup files in an attempt to discover if and how Beth co-opted his sytems. During all this, the gang gets a surprise visit from Angel Investigations, who has stopped in on their way to Bright Lake Louisiana, and come bearing the gift of additonal intel. After comparing notes, the gang discovers that Drusilla is responsible for gathering their current foes, the reborn Order of Aurelius, and that Prinz Brandt is indeed their benefactor. Worse still, Ramone's own probes have led them to the possible identity of the Order's de-facto ruler, the ancient Vampire-King known as Varnae, who has slumbered so long that his name passed into legend, and was considered a possible myth.

During the pow-wow, Mitran arrives with Eugene the Demon, who reveals that a small group of the Order's commandos are recruiting Demons across town. The Scoodux gang joins forces with Angel Inc, and they go on to take out the recruits and the commandos as well. In the process, Ramone drains the knowledge from the Squad-leader, and discovers the Order's next planned move: the acquisition of the Chalice of Roiling Skies, a powerful artifact that could assist the Order in its gambit to open one of any of the half-dozen active hellmouths. Unfortunately, the last known location of the chalice was cross-country, somewhere at the bottom of the sinkhole once known as Sunnydale.

SCENE: ANGEL INC ARRIVES

Episode 2.15 - "Sunnydale Redux"
(started on 12-17-06)

As the gang mulls over the need to go to the Sunnydale sinkhole, Team Angel moves on to Bright Lake to defend the Hellmouth there, while Spike decides to remain behind to lend the Scoodux gang a hand, since they'll likely need a guide inside the ruins. Xander went on to use his connections with Riley Finn, which resulted in Graham Miller arriving to take the strike-team (Composed of Natalie, Mitran, Spike, and David) to the Military base that cordons off the sinkhole. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang remains behind at the Library (Where Dan Durkin lends a hand), hoping that the absence of their best warriors won't draw an attack of opportunity from the Order of Aurelius. As they wait, Ramone and Lydia combine their magical abilities in order to give the group some sort of edge while Heather tracks down the person responsible for the virus infesting Twitch's systems. After she makes a positive I.D., Ramone arranges for the perp, a computer-science major named James Guidi, to be brought to the Library where he quickly sings like a canary, and hands over the files and notes that Heather needs.

While Graham remains in radio-contact from command-central, the Strike-Team and their escort enters the Sunnydale crater and finds a bizzare echo of the former town, contained within a pocket-dimension (all that remains of the Realm of Danthazar) that is rapidly fading away. While seaching for the Chalice, the team comes upon a screaming fragment of the First-Evil's consciousness, trapped there like an insect in amber. In the process, the team is attacked by a small group of Harbingers, which they defeat with relative ease. However, the group soon discovers that the Order's own forces have arrived, and they seek to claim the chalice for Varnae. The group advances and soon hears the approach of their foes, and takes cover. As they wait, Spike discovers that the small force is being led by a familiar and very unwelcome Demon from his past. Natalie and the others quickly make plans to ambush their enemies and get the Chalice first. Unfortunately, things don't go quite according to plan.

Episode 2.16 - "The Devil You Know"
(Season Finale)

(started on 1-21-07)

Things are looking pretty grim as the Order of Aurelius makes a major advance in their effort to realize Hell on Earth by acquiring the Chalice of Roiling Skies, and the group discovers that the Order plans to open up several Hellmouths at once. However, the Scoobies have gained the aid of one of the most unlikely individuals, the Prince of Darkness, Vlad Dracula, who has come promising his aid and seals that deal by bringing detailed plans for the interior of the Ruhiges Schloss, which point out the precise location of the Hellmouth-Chamber. The group decides that they would need to split their forces in order to protect Huntington AND attack the Hellmouth within the Ruhiges Schloss. While they pondered that situation, Natalie called in Sean Willaims, who appeared all-too eager to do battle.

Meanwhile, in Bavaria, Varnae made plans to use the Chalice to cover the Hemisphere in thick clouds, but those plans were dashed when Ramone decided to teleport it away while Varnae was meditating. The move worked, but Varnae decided to run with the backup plan, which was ridiculously simple: Wait until night fell over the final Hellmouth in Bright-Lake, after which all the targets (save for Kovalensk which was underground anyway) would be covered in darkness. A little later, Varnae and Doc managed to successfully resurrect Fenris.

The Library became increasingly crowded as Sean joined the effort to defend the Hellmouth, the Brides of Dracula arrived in their combat finery, and Dan Durkin returned carrying his Grandfather's old "Portable Sun". Ramone and Heather went to Dwane's house to fetch flack-vests and flamethrowers, and found that Dwane had recently arrived, and he too joined the effort. Xander moved forward and chose the Strike-Team that would travel to Bavaria: Himself, Natalie, David, Ramone, Spike, and Dracula. The others would remain behind to protect the Hellmouth from the Order's forces. Finally, when night fell in Bright Lake, the Order made their move, opening portals for their troops to move on Kovalensk, Bath, Cleveland, Huntington, and Bright Lake. As they did so, Ramone opened a portal allowing him and the other members of the Strike-Team to enter the Chapel of the Ruhiges Schloss itself. As they prepared to strike at the heart of the Order, the battles for the fate of the world began.

The forces of the Order made their moves, and the forces of good fought back. In every locale, the Order found their troops strongly opposed, from Kovalensk, Siberia, all the way to Bright Lake, Louisiana. As these battles begun, the Scoodux strike-force penetrated the Order's Bavarian HQ, and took the fight to the Council itself, with a little unexpected help from Groo and the Knights of Byzantium. In the end, the Council was shattered. Fenris and Itzmiquitzli were dusted during the battle in Huntington, and Lyle Gorch fled the scene. In Bavaria, Calamity was re-ensouled, and she took her revenge on Johnathan Smythe with Ramone's help, though she too perished in the process. Doc finally met his end at Spike's hands, while Twitch and Beth were both disabled. In the final battle, the cursed Zurina met her end, Drusilla escaped, and Prinz Brandt was seemingly dusted. During the battle, Ramone managed to absorb enough magical energy to close the Ruhigestadt Hellmouth, though the effort nearly killed him. Last, but certainly not least, Varnae himself, the great and mighty Vampire King, fell before the combined assault of Natalie and Buffy, thanks to the only thing that could harm him, the Slayer Scythe. Once again, another Apocalypse had been successfully thwarted.

A few weeks later, Xander and Lydia finished packing up their belongings and made ready to move on to Xander's next assignment. Already, Dwane had once more left town, Twitch and Beth had moved away to start new lives, Dan Durkin had accepted a new assignment in Baltimore, Mitran had remained in Europe to continue his diplomatic duties, and Heather had accepted a position with Penn State and would also be moving on in a few days. It was the end of a short-lived era, and the start of a new one.
