The Living-Dead Girl (Played by - Teresa) Beth's life, like the lives of many of the others here, has not been an easy one. Her parents were killed a few years back in an automobile accident, but fortunately she had one older sister, and a half-sister upon which to draw strength following the tragedy. Beth didn't let despair drag her down, and continued to work hard on her art... using her creativity to work through a lot of her sorrow. Sculpting, photography, painting, illustration, CAD, modeling... she dabbled in it all and excelled at most, winning numerous awards in high-school for her tremendous creativity. She came to Marshall as an Art Major with a head full of dreams. But, like so many freshmen, she started to enjoy her new start a little too much. She met a mysterious TKE frat-member named Nick Parker, and started to party a little too hearty, which predictably resulted in her neglecting her studies. She probably would have eventually shaken off this phase, but she never really got the chance. Nick was into far more than the greek life on campus. His interests ran a bit darker, and with sinister intent, he invited Beth to a cabin retreat for the weekend, under the guise of wanting her there for romantic reasons. However, soon after her arrival, she was drugged, and woke up surrounded by chanting, hooded figures gathered in a circle around her naked, restrained body. Her unease turned to abject terror and utter betrayal when one of the figures revealed themself to be Nick, mere seconds before plunging a knife into her heart. Much to her shock, Beth awoke to the sound of that disturbing chanting, a bloody sheet wrapped around her cold body. Yet she could move...she could feel...and she could act. Filled with rage, she tore her way through the sheet with almost no effort. It took even less effort for Beth to corner a pair of the now-terrified hooded figures, and snap their necks like dry kindling. As their bodies slumped to the floor she whirled around and snapped the spine of one of the fleeing figures with a single blow. The others, however, managed to escape and drive away before they could be caught. With her rage ebbing into sorrow, Beth shambled back into the cabin, and pulled back the hoods obscuring the faces of the three bodies. Much to her regret, none of them were Nick. Puzzling over the reasons why she was still "alive", Beth returned to school, and threw herself into her studies. She tried not to think about her new status as a Zombie too much during the day. However the nights were different. Compelled to find out the why's of her continued existence, she prowled the campus and the park at night, hoping to find Nick, or to save some unfortunate girl from meeting the same fate. In her wanderings, Beth has encountered other dark creatures, and found that vampires did indeed exist, and that with her supernatural strength and resistance to injury, she could effectively fight them. She also found that shoving a piece of wood through their hearts did the trick, just like in the movies. Eventually, she encountered others who hunted such creatures, and took steps to make sure that they, like the other students, didn't discover what she truly was. At least not until she had a better idea herself.
